Monthi Festh celebrated

Sep 08: ‘Monthi Festh’ the birth day of Mother Mary was celebrated with much joy in the parish. The celebration began with the blessing of the new corn at the market place. Then the statue of Mother Mary was brought to the parish in the procession. The children offered flowers at the Grotto of Mother Mary.

The feast day mass began at 8:30am. Rev. Fr. Baptist Menezes was the main celebrant of the day, He preached on the importance of Mother Mary's virtues in our day today life. Rev. Andrew conveyed his feast day wishes to all and blessed the congregation.Fr. sunil pinto concelabrated the Holy mass.The parish donors and sponsors were honoured at the end. Towards the end of the Holy Mass there was blessing of new corn with the payasam. the whole communtiy had tasted the new corn with Payasam as a family. Sugar cane was distributed to all the parishioners. Wish you all a happy and peaceful Monthi Festh.
