Nine-day novena begins at St Jude Shrine , prior to the annual feast

The nine-day novena prior to the annual feast of St Jude Shrine Pakshikere began with the unfurling of St Jude’s Flag hoisted by Fr. Jawahar Cutinho at the church premises on October 19 , 2020 at 9.00 am. Secretary of Parish Council Shaila D'souza mastered the ceremony.

After flag hoisting, Saalumarada Thimmakka fan club Pakshikere founder Walter D'souza along with Parish Priest Fr Melwyn Noronha, Fr Santhosh D'souza and Fr Jawahar Cutinho, showing Love and Respect for Mother Earth, planted a tree donated by Parish Vice-President Jackson Saldanha.
