May 3: First Holy Communion Day was celebrated in our parish on the 1st May as seven children received Jesus in their heart for the first time.
All dressed in pure white as little angels they made a solemn entry on to the Alter with their parents and the Parish Priests.Fr.Alban D souza, the parish priest presided over the Eucharist and Fr.Anil was the co-celebrant.The whole liturgy was conducted by the first communion children.
Mrs.Gracy Miranda prepared the children for their catechism.After having learnt the catechism the children were very enthusiastic to receive the Holy Communion.
The church was full with the parishioners and the guests.The children were given a rosary,a scapular and a certificate as the remembrance of the day.The children thanked their parents,the catechism teacher and the Parish Priests for preparing them so well for this auspicious day.
