Oct 28:The feast of St.Jude was celebrated today with all grandeur. The parish and the surroundings were decorated with flowers and lights. The Auxiliary Bishop of Bombay, Most Rev.Dr. Percival Fernandes, the main celebrant of the day was welcomed at the entrance by Rev.Fr.Andrew and Rev.Fr.Sunil. The church was full with the parishioners and pilgrims. The parish priests of neighbouring parishes too joined the celebration as concelebrants. The church choir did a good job under the leadership of Rev.Fr.Sunil Pinto and Mr.Joe. The founder members of the parish and sponsors of the feast were honoured by the Bishop.
The Bishop felicitated Miss.Teresa Sequeira on her 80th birthday and also opened the parish bulletin Yathrik.At the end of the mass Mr.Dolphi Miranada, the Vice President of the Parish Council proposed the vote of thanks for making these nine days of celebration a grand success. The parish YCS and ICYM units had put up stalls for entertainment and games. The annual parish feast was a grand success and joy to all.
