April 5:Maundy Thursday was celebrated in parish to venerate Christ’s ultimate gesture of love towards his disciples and to celebrate the remembrance of Last Supper. Rev. Fr. Joachim Fernandes, Professor at the Jeppu Seminary was the main celebrant of the day. In his homily he stressed on three aspects of today’s theme service, love and Priesthood. The ceremony of Washing of Feet was done by Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza. The 12 disciples were chosen from the wards. At the end of the mass bread was distributed to every family. After the adoration the sacrament was taken to the adoration chapel.
