ICYM Oath Taking: Understanding Responsibilities

The newly elected ICYM office bearers as well as the members of ICYM were sworn in by an oath taking ceremony; the oath was administered by Rev. Fr. Melwyn Noronha the parish priest and Rev. Fr. Rahul Dexter D'Souza Assistant Parish Priest during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Rev. Fr. Rahul was elected as the director of the ICYM deanery. The oath taking ceremony began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist; the oath was taken by the members of the unit and the office bearers that they would safeguard the inbuilt virtues of the Christian faith, with honesty and responsibility to the church and the faithful that is to be duly fulfilled.
