'Horekanike' and Confraternity Sunday celebrated

St Jude Shrine Pakshikere observed the Confraternity Sunday on 21st October, 2018 as a preparation for the Annual Feast Celebration. The procession of Eucharist was the main attraction which was witnessed by the non Christian devotees.

Rev. Fr Cyril Lobo, residing at Bondel Church conducted the entire ceremony. The grand procession of Horekanike began at 4:30 pm from Pakshikere town towards Pakshikere Church. Many people participated in the procession. Thereafter the Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr Cyril Lobo. Rev. Fr Melwyn Noronha Parish Priest of St Jude Shrine, Rev Fr. Richard Saldanha Native of Pakshikere Parish and Rev. Fr Ivan Madtha con-celebrated the Mass. Novena to St Jude was conducted by Rev. Fr Melwyn Noronha

There was Eucharistic procession from Pakshikere Church to Pakshikere town followed by Homily and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Meal was served at the end of the ceremony.
