Aug 01:The Vailankani Ward members came together for a half day of Shramadan. It was done on 31.07.2011 at 2:00pm by repairing road from Pakshikere market to St. Jude Higher Primary School. The decision was taken during the last Sunday’s SCC meeting to organise half day of Shramadan in the ward. Since the road connecting from market to school was in really bad shape, it was decided to repair this road.
The ward members gather near the market under the leadership of Gurkarn, Mrs. Shiala D’Souza. The work was organised well and there were 40 ward members present. The potholes on the road were filled and surroundings were cleaned. After the work the tea and snacks was arranged in Mr. Vincent D’Souza’s residence.
