Dec 5:The Nityadhar Ward Christmas celebration was held on the 4.12.2011 at the residence of Mrs.Cecelia veigas at 4:30pm. Rev. Fr. Oswald Monteiro was the chief guest for the occasion. The programme began with the prayer song by Mrs Cynthia Saldanha. The Ward Gurkar, Mr. Vincent D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Fr. Oswald Monteiro initiated the prayer service and delivered the Christmas message. The children of the ward presented cultural events in the form of dance, song and skit. Mr.Vincent D’Souza conducted the games for the various age groups.
Kuswar was distributed to the gathering, which was sponsored by everyone in the form of one item each. The prizes were distributed to the winners by Fr. Oswald Monteiro. The ward representative Mrs.Cynthia Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks. All in all it was a wonderful celebration, which brought the ward member together for a meaningful Christmas Celebration.
