April 8:The Easter Vigil ceremony began with the blessing of fire at the portico of the church. Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza blessed the fire and Easter Candle. Rev. Fr. Paul Melvyn D’Souza was the main celebrant of the mass; he gave an inspirational message on Easter and its significance. Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Souza conveyed his Easter wishes to the parishioners and thanked everyone who has contributed for the success of the Holy Week celebrations. At the end of the mass four Sisters of Dominican Sisters Convent were congratulated on their first vows. Thus the Holy Week liturgical ceremonies came to an end with all its significance.
