Confraternity Sunday celebrated

Oct. 21: Confraternity Sunday was celebrated in the parish as preparation for the up coming annual feast of St.Jude on 21st October 2012. The programme began at 4:30pm with the Offertory Procession from the market place at pakshikere. People from in and around the parish had contributed their offerings in kind, which was gathered in the market place. Rev.Fr. Andrew D’Souza blessed the offerings and Fr. Sunil Pinto thanked everyone for their generous offerings.

The mass began at 5:15pm in the parish. Rev. Fr. Alfred D'Souza was the main celebrant, Fr. Dolphy Serravo  preached in Kannada during the Eucharistic Procession. The offerings are collected for the Annasantharpane (Festive Meal) which will be held on 23-10-2012 with Community Wedding celebrations. The procession went on well.
