Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul Dsouza, the Bishop of Mangalore , made a Pastoral Visit to our church on 26th of July 2015. The Bishop arrived sharp at 8.3 A.M. Fr. Andrew Leo Dsouza, the Parish Priest, Fr. Patrick Sequeira, the Asst. Parish Priest, Br. Noel Fernandez CSsR, Sr. Sheeba, Sr. Superior of Maria Kripalaya, Pakshikere, Mr. Vincent Dsouza, Vice President , Parish Pastoral Council, Pakshikere, Mrs. Lucy Dsouza , Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Pakshikere, and all the parishioners welcomed the Bishop wholeheartedly. After the welcome ceremony, the Bishop taught the catechism to all present, which was followed by the mass. 65 children were Confirmed by the Bishop. After the mass, all gathered in the church mini hall. Reports were submitted according to the organization to the Bishop. The parishioners wished the Bishop and took his blessings. At 1.30 P.M, meals were served to all present. At 4.00 P.M, the Bishop made a visit to a sick members home. The Bishop departure at 5.00 P.M from the church. All the parishioners had a wonderful day.
